The model STORM body armour has been developed and designed with the idea of modular system and interchangeability conception. It is conceived for easy and rapid operator’s movements together with maximum comfort. It allows the operator to make all the necessary actions in order to use his rifles, drive vehicles without excess material, weight and bulk and thanks to its water-proof fabric it can be used in amphibious operations. This ARMOUR CARRIER gives a full chest protection, it is soft and flexible and can perfectly and securely fit to the operator’s body. It is made of 1000 DENIER CORDURA external construction, while the inside is made of 35% cotton and 65% polyester mesh. It features two adjustable velcro straps in the lumbar area and two on the shoulders for tailored girth and torso fit. Two front and rear slot pockets with velcro closures accommodate additional ballistic plates of 250 x 300 mm size and features level IV rifle protection. It features a rear easily accessible drag and evacuation handle and the external garment is covered with multiple rows of MOLLE webbing attachments for pouches, holsters and accessories. Furthermore it features front and rear velcro straps for id patches. It is equipped with a mesh bag. It features a quick-release system. It is possible to equip this ballistic Armour carrier with additional detachable protections for arms, neck, collar and groin area. Furthermore velcro straps provide accessories attachments thus providing maximum protection to the operator’s body.
